"Tatkal" means immediate and tatkal bookings are nothing but immediate reservation process for your last-minute journeys. one can avail of the tickets under the tatkal scheme anytime, a day before the date of your journey. Tatkal tickets can be booked both online or offline. In general, the tatkal booking process starts at 10 a.m for the AC class of travel and at 11 a.m for a Non-AC class of travel. So, you can book tickets anytime after 10 a.m to avail of AC coaches and after 11 a.m to avail of Non-AC coaches.
