The demand for Tatkal tickets is huge due to its immediate bookings. Usually, tatkal bookings start from s particular period of time in a day. Moreover, the tatkal reservation process timings are different for different classes of travel. The booking process of tickets under the tatkal scheme opens earlier for AC coaches including AC 3 Tier, AC 2 Tier, AC Chair Car. The reservation process starts from a day before the date of your travel at 10 a.m. for AC class of travel and 11 a.m. for the Non-AC class of travel. Non-AC classes include Sleeper and Reserve Second Sitting coaches.
